Welcome to RelaxBoatz. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the booking of our fleet, including the Regal 360 Commodore, HB1 Houseboat, Liberty, and HB3 Cruiser. By accessing our site or booking a charter, you agree to comply with these terms.

A. Booking and Payments

All bookings are processed through our integrated online booking engine.

  • Pricing: Rates displayed (e.g., starting from $450/day for the Regal 360) are subject to change based on peak seasons, holidays, or special event days at the marina.
  • Validation: To secure a booking, full payment or a designated deposit is required.
  • Parking: We offer parking validation for our guests at James Creek Marina. While we reimburse the $20 fee, RelaxBoatz is not responsible for vehicle security or marina-enforced parking rules during peak times or game days.

B. Safety and Conduct (The “Grill & Chill” Rules)

Safety is our absolute priority. Guests must adhere to all onboard safety briefings provided by the captain or crew.

  • Grill Operations: Use of onboard propane grills (on the HB1 and other equipped vessels) requires strict adherence to our Grill Safety Guide. A fire extinguisher must be visible before lighting.
  • Flame Management: Guests are responsible for monitoring flames. If the wind blows out the flame, the valve must be twisted clockwise to increase height; excessively high flames that risk grease fires must be reduced immediately.
  • Emergency Protocol: In the event of a flare-up, the gas valve must be closed immediately and the onboard extinguisher deployed.
  • Vessel Movement: All loose equipment, including grills, must be tied down securely whenever the vessel is in motion.

C. Vessel Care and Cleaning

We take pride in our “spotless boat” standard.

  • Guest Responsibility: Guests are expected to treat the vessels, such as the premium teak woodwork on the Liberty, with respect.
  • Damage Fees: Excessive mess or damage to surfaces, mirrors, or upholstery (which we maintain using specific vinegar and Dawn solutions for a streak-free finish) may result in additional cleaning or repair fees.
  • Sanitation: Our bathrooms feature specialized systems, including macerator toilets and bidet controllers. Improper use leading to system failure will be the financial responsibility of the guest.

D. Cancellations and Weather

  • Inclement Weather: The captain reserves the right to cancel or postpone a trip due to unsafe river conditions.
  • Vessel Substitution: While we strive to provide the specific vessel booked (e.g., HB1 vs. HB3), RelaxBoatz reserves the right to substitute a vessel of similar or greater value if mechanical issues arise.
